Cherry and Blackberry Crumble
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash and pit the cherries, and wash the blackberries.
Ingredients:
Prepare the fruit filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the pitted cherries and blackberries. Add a tablespoon of sugar if you prefer it sweeter, then set aside to let the juices mix.
Make the crumble topping
In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, remaining sugar, and softened butter. Use your hands or a pastry cutter to combine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Assemble and bake
Transfer the cherry and blackberry mixture to a baking dish and spread the crumble topping over evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden and the filling is bubbling.
Enjoy!
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Enjoy your sweet treat!
