Boiled Chicken and Asparagus
Gather all ingredients and have a pot ready for boiling the chicken and asparagus.

Prepare the ingredients
In a large pot, add 500 ml of water and bring it to a boil. Meanwhile, trim the tough ends off the asparagus and set aside.
Cook the chicken
Once the water is boiling, add 200 grams of chicken breast. Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
Boil the asparagus
After removing the chicken, add the asparagus to the same pot. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain the water.
Enjoy!
Serve the boiled chicken sliced on a plate next to the asparagus, optionally with a squeeze of lemon for zest. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Enjoy as a healthy meal prep option!
